Derek will be returning to the World Horseshoeing Classic once more to defend the title. "3 days, 18 teams, 72 farriers, one prize -- WORLD CHAMPIONS". Taking place on 21st - 24th February 2018 in Kentucky Derek will be one of the team of four which includes Steven Beane, Nigel Fennell and Ricky Hilton. Ricky takes Darren Bazin's place this year and it has been great to have him back out competing again!
The Ayrshire BFBA Branch Competition, hosted by J & A Ferrie Farrier Supplies, this year celebrates its 40th anniversary and take places on 22nd - 24th March 2018. For this special competition they have added a new four man team competition and Derek will be taking part with Steven Beane, David Varini and Paul Robinson.
Exciting times ahead; plenty of time in the forge and tough competitions!
