Judged by Steven Beane FWCF and Danny Mallender AWCF over 3 days on the 11th - 14th July 2017, the Great Yorkshire is a wonderful show to be a part of.
Facing tough competition Derek secured wins in the Hunter Shoeing, Roadsters and Shoeing Championship in addition to other consistently high placings over the three days to secure the Show Championship.
Derek also won the Worshipful Company of Farriers Best Shod Horse Award in the Heavy Weight Cobs - confirmation of his exceptionally high standards in his everyday work.
